You may have spotted a handsome Corgi named Arlo in our recent photography. With his unmistakable Corgi charm and a winning smile, Arlo has become a familiar furry face at Dorwest! We recently caught up with his owner, Jess, to hear more about how she manages Arlo's skin sensitivities.

Like many dogs, Arlo needs a little extra support during the warmer months, especially when grass, pollen and summer walks are part of everyday life. Tell us a little bit about yourself, Arlo and Flo

"Hi, I’m Jess, a former teacher turned content writer and editor from South Wales. Arlo is my sassy, demanding three-year-old and Flo is my one-year-old wild thing, often lovingly referred to as “Feral Flo”. Arlo joined our family in 2023, followed by Flo in 2024."

When did you first notice Arlo needed extra skin support?

"Arlo had a whole host of issues as a puppy and we eventually realised he was sensitive to poultry and had quite a sensitive tummy, as well as being quite a sensitive soul."

"We found that in the summer, his eyes were more watery and he was often very itchy, especially after walks. He would chew at his paws and become rather disgruntled, especially if the grass had just been cut."
